If you have ever wanted to know more about the planes and the people who designed and piloted them in the early days of Oregon aviation, have we got the summer for you!
On June 15, from 10:00 am until 11:00, Annette Buswell Whittington and Mark Baxter, members of the OAHS, will be presenting information on the Pilots and Planes of Bernard Field. This group of intrepid plane builders and pilots were referred to by some as the “Beaverton Outlaws” for their refusal to follow the Civil Aeronautics Authority’s rules on homebuilt and experimental planes.
We expect a lively discussion and a great time, so join the fun!
The presentation is free, but donations will be graciously accepted.
