We have a lot of written and printed information here at the History Center and we need help going through it all to find the most appropriate search terms for each item. Much of the printed material is lacking an index of any type, which makes it more difficult for researchers to find what they are looking for. And it goes without saying that the handwritten info is in a similar state. All of this material eventually needs to be entered into our archive database with proper (and helpful) search terms attached.
And that is where you come in.
If you like to read and have a couple of hours a week that you can spend on this project, please let DJ know at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling, and we will do our best to fit all the volunteers in in such a way as to make it as easy as possible for you to help us out.
This is an ongoing project, so if you can’t help now but think you might be able to do so later, please keep an eye on this space. We will periodically repost this information as a reminder.
