Thanks in part to your continued donations, OAHS has been able to acquire a new piece of Oregon Aviation history! One of two Eyerly Coupes, also known as the Whiffle Hen, is currently on her way back to Oregon from the great state of Wyoming. Engineered and built circa 1931 by Lee Eyerly of Eyerly Aircraft Co., Salem, Or.
Sold at least twice after production in the 1930’s, the plane traveled to and from Oregon towed on it’s landing gear, with the tail wheel as a hitch. Hopefully this trip home is a bit smoother!
