On September 3, we were happy to see so many people come out to celebrate the 4th annual Great Oregon Homebuilt Fly-in! Pilots brought in their beautiful creations, we displayed some historic planes from our collection, and families enjoyed seeing homebuilts both old and new. KVAL Channel 13 from Eugene provided some local coverage of the event: https://nbc16.com/news/local/cottage-grove-celebrated-its-4th-annual-great-oregon-homebuilt-fly-in-on-saturday
We were excited to see the RV14A that Van’s Aircraft flew down from Aurora, Oregon. The company is commemorating their 50th anniversary, and they’re now the leading manufacturer of kit aircraft in the world.
Everyone in attendance, pilot or not, contributed to carrying out Oregon’s legacy of homebuilt aircraft. Thank you for your support!
