2020 Events

Due to the public health threats related to COVID-19, the Board Members of OAHS have chosen to postpone this year’s Wings & Wheels event to coincide with the scheduled Great Oregon Homebuilt Fly-in on Saturday, August 29. Please plan on bringing the whole family to enjoy a fun-filled, flying-filled extravaganza!

Protective equipment, protocols and procedures will be in place as our facility reopens to the public. OAHS continues to track the status of our community’s and state’s evolving opening plans.

As we persist in evaluating the status of our summer events, we are seeking to provide a taste of the museum on this site with virtual tours and presentations. We all look forward to when we may, once again, see you here at the museum. Please check back soon!

The Great Oregon Homebuilt Fly-In

Outlaw Overview:

Watch this video that includes interviews with early aviators who tell what it was like to fight with the feds prior to WWII and how they sought to change the regulations after the war.

You can learn about the mission and some of the displays at OAHS. Including the Baby Fleet, the RV3, and the Story Specials #1 and #2 which all had tremendous impact in experimental aviation history, and all from right here in Oregon.

We are proud to share our states’ deep roots in aviation history.

Hope to see you soon!

Our travelling presentations are sponosored, in part, by:
